Age Limit:- Here is the age limit for Civilian and Serving Candidates.
- Civilian Candidates: 20 to 25 years of age as of 01 Oct 2017 (i.e. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1992 and 30 Sep 1997 inclusive of both dates).
- Serving Combatants on Remuneration: 20 to 28 years of age as of 01 Oct 2017 (i.e. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1989 and 30 Sep 1997 inclusive of both dates).
Educational Qualification:- The candidate must have a working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both. candidate should have a graduation / post-graduation degree from a recognized university.
(i) Science Stream : B Sc / B Sc(IT) / BCA / BE / B Tech / M Sc / M Sc(IT) / MCA / M Tech (with or without B Ed) with any of the following subjects:-
- Computer Science

Indian Army Education Havildar Physical Standards 2022
The required Army education havildar height, weight, and chest are the physical attributes that will be measured by the selection board. Measurement of these physical standards of candidates is taken prior to the commencement of the physical fitness test.
Physical standards of the candidates are regarded as part of the basic eligibility criteria and thus individuals with undesirable physical attributes are not selected for the next phase of the recruitment.

Indian Army Education Havildar Physical Test Details
As soon as the basic eligibility evaluation is complete the Indian Army education havildar selection process of participants begins with the physical fitness test. Education havildar physical test denotes the significance of the physical fitness abilities of the candidates.
Unlike the previous physical test candidates who qualify for education havildar physical efficiency test, they must compete against one another and complete a certain number of tasks following the official norms. It is important that candidates understand that their selection will be determined by their score given based on their performance.
Only those candidates who pass their physical test shall proceed to the next stage of the selection process conducted by the selection board. Therefore to pass the test following task has to be completed by every candidate as per the requirement mentioned along with each task.
- Race of 1.6 Km run –Within 6 minutes 20 seconds. (Candidates who finish the race by exceeding the allotted time limit as mentioned are disqualified).
- Pull-ups (Beam) – 6 pulls minimum( Individuals who complete less than the minimum requirement are rejected).
- Balance – Mandatory to qualify (No Marks ).
- 9’ Feet ditch – Mandatory to qualify ( No Marks).
Note: The marks for the race and pull-up sections are given by the authority according to their performance. So candidates should try to finish the race in a shorter time and complete maximum pull-ups.
Army Education Havildar Medical Test Details
Now the selected cadets will reach the Army education havildar medical test that is compulsory to qualify. At this stage, candidates are not required to do anything except go through the medical examination.
The medical examination is conducted to ensure the well-being of every selected candidate in regard to their medical conditions. Thus during this test the overall medical status, health, mental health, bones, ears, eyes, nose, etc are examined.
Aspirants with any sort of medical drawbacks such as poor eye vision, unhealthy oral health, or mental health, shall be declared medically unfit by the officials of the Military Medical Corps. who conduct the medical test.

Join Indian Army Havildar Education Written Exam
Individuals who pass their medical test then have to appear in the written exam conducted as the final test of the selection process. Now, this test evaluates the intellectual abilities of the candidate.
